The PNU GKS Alumni Association is the home for all Global Korea Scholarship recipients at Pusan National University. As the second-largest community on campus, we unite scholars across different languages, backgrounds, and academic paths—from Undergraduates and Master’s/Ph.D. candidates to Postdoc researchers.

We all know that adjusting to life in Korea can be a wild ride—from figuring out complex university systems to navigating everyday language barriers. That’s exactly why we’re here: to make your time at PNU smoother, richer, and a lot more fun.

Here is what we do together:

• Academic Support: Freshmen guides, shared notes, essential notices, and peer mentorship so no one feels left behind in their studies.

• Opportunities & Communication: Breaking down language barriers by sharing key university updates, internship postings, and personal development opportunities.

• Career & Networking: Connecting you with seniors in your department or home country, host career Q&As, and share real-world advice from alumni.

• Events & Community: Building a true "home away from home" through fun indoor activities, outdoor trips, and seasonal gatherings.

Please keep in mind that our team leads this community purely on a volunteer basis because we truly care about making PNU a better place for all of us. A little kindness, respect, and active participation go a very long way in keeping this community thriving.
